Senators reducing Canadian Tire Centre seating by 1,500, not changing logo

When it comes to attendance, the Ottawa Senators are banking on a less is more philosophy.After a 2016-17 that included far too many empty seats - including not selling out for playoff games - the Senators have reduced seating capacity at Canadian Tire Centre to 17,000 from the previous 18,500.The upper bowl of the arena is now covered with tarps.
