Plane overshoots Altona runway
Investigators are trying to find out why a small plane overshot a grass runway at the Altona Airport and ended up in a drainage ditch. The incident took place at about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 20, just before sundown when the west bound Piper aircraft attempted to land on the grass runway.[...]
