Ontario Budget 2012: Liberals and NDP at odds over budget bill
Government House Leader John Milloy and Finance Minister Dwight Duncan address reporters at Queen's Park on Wednesday over the Liberals' problems getting the NDP to support the budget bill. If the budget bill fails, Ontario would be plunged into a summer election less than a year after the Oct. 6 vote. “If the bill doesn’t pass, we’re going to have an election,” warned Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan, as the Liberals and New Democrats wrangle over the budget bill.

CP Rail: Canada Labour Minister Raitt Poised to Order End to CP Rail Strike
Trucks continue to come and go Wednesday morning as Teamsters Canada members picket outside the Obico Intermodal Terminal on North Queen St., Etobicoke. Workers went on strike against Canadian Pacific just after midnight and CP has suspended its freight service across the country. The Harper government moved Wednesday to be in a position to pass back-to-work legislation if the strike is prolonged.

How Lego toys led to the arrest of a high-flying Silicon Valley exec
Thomas Langenbach, a Silicon Valley technology executive, is facing charges after authorities say he changed the bar codes on Lego toys at a Target store to buy them for less. A Silicon Valley software executive has been charged with four felony counts of burglary after allegedly printing his own discount bar codes and pasting them on Lego toys he would later resell online.
