Summerside group takes ownership of city port
Federal Transport Minister John Baird, centre, and Arnold Croken, president of the Summerside Port Corporation Inc., sign the transfer agreement placing the Port of Summerside under the control of the Summerside Port Corporation Inc. The federal government is contributing $20.4 million over the 25-year agreement for the operation and maintenance of the port.
