The Technical Advisor provides technical expertise in support of MULTIVAC's sales efforts to close new business opportunities by collaborating with the Sales, Product and Factory teams, and with Customers to firstly understand the practical requirements of the customers packaging needs, and then define the best application solution to fulfill the customers' requirements. The solution will encompass both the application and technical aspects of the project and be built using a combination of equipment and services from the MULTIVAC and third party portfolios. When defining the solution, demonstrate good commercial and technical expertise by offering the best price versus performance solution that addresses the customer's true needs rather than wants. Provide application guidance to the Sales Team by explaining the application and equipment solution and how it addresses the customers' needs while outlining the key benefits of our solution. Also offer potential savings or enhancements to the proposed solution outlining the benefits and/or drawbacks of the optional changes. The desired outcome is to fully prepare the Sales Team to properly explain and position our solution to the customer. Once the application & technical solution is defined, assume responsibility for the quotation process by preparing professional, prompt and accurate sales proposals. Assume responsibility for the presentation, commercial accuracy (pricing, terms and conditions) and final technical review of a customer proposal to the Sales Team, and support the Sales Team presentation to the customer when requested.
