You Shall Receive
You'd think a man almost seventy years old would quit pestering God to give him a Harley-Davidson, but I haven't. I give up occasionally and ask for a motor scooter instead, but as soon I see a Harley "hog" and hear that deep-throated, guts and glory macho roar, I forget the scooter and start praying again for the Harley ... along with a bass boat, split-bamboo fly rod, hemi-6.2 liter engine for my pickup, and a Browning over-under shotgun. After all, in the book of Matthew, the Lord promises "...all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer ... you shall receive."

A Tar Heel Apologizes To The People Of Mississippi
The people of North Carolina spoke on Tuesday, May 8th, and voted for an amendment to the North Carolina Constitution that defines marriage in North Carolina as between one man and one woman. It removed all doubt about the forms of marriage to be recognized in NC as a marriage between a man and a woman. That is the only kind of marriage to be recognized, henceforth, in the Tar Heel state.

Che Guevara Adorned Reno-Tahoe Airport
A painting of Che Guevara subtitled "Revolucion!" by a Mexican-American artist was on display for over three months at the International Airport in Reno, Nevada, USA. On May 9th it was taken down by airport officials as originally scheduled. Complaints by outraged airport patrons had nothing to do with this removal.

A New Jordanian Government
Jordanian prime ministers do not resign; they are replaced. Thus it is hard to believe that Awn Khasawneh actually resigned on April 26, 2012 - while on a visit to Turkey, no less. Moreover, the new Prime Minister, Fayez Tarawneh, was appointed in a hurried fashion, and the King's letter, which was publicized immediately, was unusual in the harshness of the criticism aimed at the outgoing PM, more indicative of a dismissal than a resignation.

German Banks Banned From Financing Offshore Windfarms
Next bad news for the German Federal Government: Stricter regulations of the financial markets are endangering the green energy transition. The knockout blow for the financing of offshore wind farms is the so-called matching maturities rule which was aggravated to stabilize the financial markets. "Offshore wind farms cannot be financed by anyone. We have just been banned from doing this," said Commerzbank board member Markus Beumer.--Henning Krumrey, Wirtschaftswoche, 12 May 2012

Life is a Bomb
Good news for those of you who enjoy taking your shoes off in airports. Al-Qaeda's chief bombmaker, a cheerful fellow named Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri, who sent his younger brother off on a suicide bombing mission with a bomb up his rectum, has been working on turning everything into a bomb. Cameras, printer cartridges and even pets.

How Rich Are European Socialists and Marxists?
The Socialist Francois Hollande is a very rich man. The newly elected president of France has three holiday homes on the Riviera, north of Cannes. Pretending to "dislike the rich," the "gauche caviar" Hollande is very rich himself.

America Is Back? What About California, Mr. President?
During President Obama's 2012 State of the Union message in January, he declared in part:
"From the coalitions we've built to secure nuclear materials, to the missions we've led against hunger and disease; from the blows we've dealt to our enemies; to the enduring power of our moral example, America is back," he said."

Obama White House Politicizes Mothers Day for Obamacare Push
Nothing is sacred to this president. Nothing. Even Mothers Day is something for him to use to push his wrong-headed political policies as is evident on the White House website where the holiday meant to honor our nation's moms is being used to push Obamacare.
It would be bad enough if Obama had this appalling use of Mothers Day on his campaign website, but it isn't. It's on the official White House website, to that makes it the official position of the U.S. government.
Worse, this is another example of Obama's use of a faceless image to represent women, just like his risible "Julia" campaign. Apparently women are just faceless automatons to this president, cannon fodder for his reelection campaign.

"Winds of Revolution"
Yes, America, you are watching the suicide of a great country Mr. Obama and his Progressive Socialists supporters/followers, union and radical thugs, and ardent admirers. They are self-destructing from corruption and ineptitude but are not giving up on fundamentally changing America. We must understand that they have an "Agenda" and are following that "Agenda". I am finally sensing that Americans are starting to wake up and the winds of a new revolution are swirling to save the country.

The Rise of Black-on-White Violence
The media and the usual race-mongers made sure that all of America knew about George Zimmerman's killing of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, on February 26. The local police initially did not arrest Zimmerman because it was an obvious case of self-defense.

I Hate Mothers
Well, no, I don't - but plenty of other people seem to. But don't take my word for it. Please watch this video. It is one of the most bizarre, ugly and reprehensible videos you will see on this Mothers' Day:

Mitt Dirt for Dem Strategists
President Obama's poll numbers have declined in the face of a moribund economy, calculated pandering to college students and matrimonial-minded gays, stubbornly high unemployment, and $40,000-per-plate fund raisers. The standard Democrat response to such well-deserved disaffection for the president is to release some character-assassinating fable about Mitt Romney through the mainstream media. If the trend continues, I calculate the liberal press will run out of such stories in mid-June, so I've prepared a few Romney whoppers that should get wide coverage in the weeks ahead.

The Fire Burns
The circle of men whirls around the fire, hand in hand, hand catching hand, drawing in newcomers into the ring that races around and around in the growing darkness. A melody thumps through the speakers teetering unevenly with the bass, the sound is both old and new, a mix of the past and the present, like the participants in the dance, the traditional garments mixing with jeans and t-shirts until it is all a blur.

New Jersey Police Say Blind People Don't Deserve Constitutional Rights
Are you a blind person living in New Jersey? Well, according to your police there, they think because you are blind you shouldn't be allowed to have your Constitutional right to bear arms. This is exactly what they told a Rockaway man over four years ago. But he's had the last laugh.

Elizabeth Warren: Senate Candidate, Marxist Author & Shameless Race Grifter
Elizabeth Warren's reign of fraudulent incompetence would be more startling if she wasn't just a robotic Marxist, simply treading the well-worn path used by millions of other leftist charlatans. But given the high stakes of her current MA US Senate bid, her addiction to underhanded maneuvering must be exposed. Her Harvard law professorship affords status to continue the progressive dream of demanding crippled Marxist ideals for public policy. Warren bellows for doomed-to-fail socialist policies which have only ever created human disaster. And, as always, this is done in the deified name of the People, despite Marxist ideology always uniformly harming the most destitute.

Nova Scotia teachers Pension Ponzi melts down in 2011
It's been a disastrous year so far for pensions across the country as plans release their annual reports. These reports based on 2011 data don't take into account the reality that equity markets have not risen dramatically since the beginning of the year, but rather have continued to lose value.

Germany Faces Green Energy Crisis
Last winter, on several occasions, Germany escaped only just large-scale power outages. Next winter the risk of large blackouts is even greater. The culprit for the looming crisis is the single most important instrument of German energy policy: the "Renewable Energy Law." The economic cost of a wide-scale blackout are measured in billions of Euros per day. The most important test of energy policy is now the stability of power - so far only the cost of the green energy transition has been focused upon. Because the federal government does not have the guts to start an overdue and fundamental debate about the usefulness of a 12-year-old, now totally outdated, "launch aid" called EEG, it now threatens to over-steer, with the green energy transition ending up in a crash. Fasten your seat belts.--Daniel Wetzel, Die Welt, 10 May 2012
