 Music on Main starts Thursday
SOUTH SIMCOE - The 2012 Enbridge Music on Main Festival kicks off Thursday, May 10 at Crabby Joe's in Alliston. The lineup for the night includes Alyssa Pridham, Eric Banwell, Amy Rose and local singer/songwriter Nathan Ross.

CANADA - Canadian Tire's Jumpstart Day is being celebrated May 26. Jumpstart is a national charitable organization that helps financially disadvantaged kids between ages four and 18 participate in organized sport and recreation by covering registration, equipment and/or transportation costs.

UTOPIA - The compost and mulch sale is this Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Envirem Organics of New Brunswick has generously donated the compost and mulch, which makes it possible for the Friends of the Utopia Gristmill and Park group to be able to pay the insurance for the parkland.
